Streamingis the latest Korean thriller to land on Netflix. The movie stars Kang Ha-Neul, who plays a streamer known for covering top crimes in South Korea. As he covers the identity of the murder case, he notices that the murderer himself is watching the stream, leading to a series of twists and turns.

According toNetflix Tudum,Streaminghas cracked Netflix’s Top 10 Non-English language charts. It currently ranks at the no. 10 position, with just one million views. The movie is only available in South Korea, but it was enough to end up on the country and Netflix’s overall streaming charts.

Kang Is Currently A Rising Star, Especially After Squid Game

There are plenty of reasons whyStreamingwas able to easily land on the streamer’s charts.There is a lot of strong interest in K-content, withKPop Demon HuntersandSquid Gameseason 3 also dominating their movie and TV charts, respectively. However, sinceStreamingis not available elsewhere, it’s worth mentioning that Kang is also one of the biggest actors in South Korea.

Kang starred inSquid Gameseasons 2 and 3, where he portrayed the contestant Dae-ho. Since then, the actor has been busy both on and outside of Netflix, having recently appeared in projects likeTastefully YoursandYadang: The Snitch, which is currently the highest-grossing Korean movie in the country of this year. The romance show, in particular, was released a month beforeSquid Gameseason 3’s premiere.

Squid GameandTastefully Yoursare not the only Kang projects that are available onNetflix. The actor already has another movie lined up to release on the streamerWall to Wall, which will be released on July 18. Nevertheless, the actor has grown into one of the most sought-after actors in the industry, so hopefully, the streamer will consider making the thriller more available internationally.
