Just like season 1,Peacemakerseason 2 will consist of eight episodes and is confirmed to premiere on August 21.Peacemakerseason 2 is also confirmed to take place after the events of Gunn’sSupermanmovie, which arrives in theaters on July 11.
What The Peacemaker Season 2 Preview Means For The Show
One of the biggest teases that came out of the firstPeacemakerseason 2 trailerwas that the multiverse may be a factor in the DCU TV show’s new season, as two versions of Cena’s character were spotted. Assuming it isn’t a clone, and that it is the multiverse concept they are running with as the direction forPeacemakerseason 2, the latest preview makes it an even bigger point. After being killed off inPeacemakerseason 1,a new version of White Dragon is seen in action throughout the behind-the-scenes material for season 2, which could be the DCU doppelgänger of the DCEU foe.
The White Dragon who is seen inPeacemakerseason 2 is instead sporting a white-and-blue design for his costume, unlike his DCEU counterpart, whose design was white-and-red. If this is meant to be the DCU’s White Dragon, it will give Cena a very fascinating story, as he now has to deal with a brand-new version of the character. After seeing the White Dragon again and getting a new look at thePeacemakercast members being reunited for season 2,it will be fascinating to see how the show grows when it premieres in the fall, especially now it’s part of the DCU. This is especially true given it seems the teases for the show so far promise a gripping storyline for the series, whether that’s via it exploring the multiverse or approaching things from other perspectives. Hopefully, given how long it has been since season 1 aired, the wait forPeacemakerseason 2 will have been worth it.
