It’s out this summer

Kirby’s Dream Buffetwas just announced this morning, without a Nintendo Direct or anything! It’s a four-player game that’s set to release “this summer,” and will feature a core focus of racing through obstacle courses.

Since it’s all the info we have at the moment, here’s the full rundown ofKirby’s Dream Buffetfrom Nintendo:

Local and online play are in, but note the proviso for local multiplayer, right on the game’s official site: “Additional games and systems required for multiplayer mode. Sold separately.”

Typically the fluff ball manages to knock out a ton of spinoffs these days, so this isn’t as big of a surprise, but it’s a welcome one regardless. I’m getting a sort ofKirby’s Dream Coursevibe with the rolling around, and it seems like there’s a bit ofFall Guysinfluence there too.
