Will This Switch Price Increase Impact The Rest Of The World?

It May Not Just Be Canada Seeing Prices Change

So far, only Canada has been specified as seeing prices change. Additionally, the company didn’t specify the reasoning behind the change - or if it was an increase or decrease. However, it’s assumed the Nintendo Switch and its products will increase in price, especially given inflation over the past few years, andtariffs in the United Statesand the trade war negotiations permeated through headlines this year, all of which are affecting global markets.

At the very least, it seems likely the U.S. will see some kind of price change in the near future, given its close proximity to - and relationship with - Canada. Considering how worldwide markets work, price changes also seem likely to follow for other countries, assuming Nintendo’s price changes in Canada are notable. The changes are meant to be “specificto theCanadian market,” however, so there’s always a chance other countries will be spared from the latestNintendo Switchprice changes.
