Hmmm…
It’s not exactly unexpected to hear thatCall of Duty: Black Ops 4will be skipping Nintendo Switch, but here we go. In an interview,Twinfiniteasked game designer Matt Scronce if there are plans to bring “any aspect ofBlack Ops 4” to the system, to which he responded, “No there is not.”
As you might’ve heard yesterday from the reveal event, the game is split up into a few different segments — some familiar, some new toCall of Duty. There’scompetitive multiplayerwith specialist characters, multiple zombie offeringsincluding a gladiator map, a battle royale mode calledBlackout, and no single-player campaign. Not long ago, rumors surfacedabout Blackout making it to Switch.

I can’t say I’d personally want to playBlack Ops 4on Switch, but I sure would be curious to see how that type of game would sell. It’s strange to think that this system will soon haveWolfenstein II: The New Colossusof all shooters in its library but not a singleCall of Dutytitle to speak of.
