As much as it pains me to admit it, I’m a bit of a workaholic. And for me, work means video games. But video games also mean fun and recreation to me, so it creates a conundrum. Whether I am working hard, hardly working, or just trying to chill, my life often revolves around games. InFortnite, it is not uncommon for weapons and items to beremoved from battle royalefor a number of reasons, including when one is perceived as simply too powerful amidst the game’s other offerings. This process, called vaulting, has the potential to shakeup the established metagame, and a recent report has revealed that yet another weapon is on its way to the vault. Taking to Twitter earlier today,FortniteDesign Lead Eric Williamson has stated that “a few more vaults” are coming, and he has specifically indicated that the Quad Launcher will be among these vaultings....

Mozilla is hard at work onan overhaul of the Thunderbird mail client, with at least one major update planned for 2023. We’ve already seen mockups of the updated interface, but now there’s more to check out. The Thunderbird team has granted us another sneak peek at Thunderbird 115, codenamed “Supernova,” which is due for release in July 2023. Mozilla is showing off the folder pane, which may not seem all that exciting, but it is an element that all Thunderbird users interact with on a regular basis, providing access to all email and feed accounts....

Pokémon Legends: Z-Amarks the return of Mega Evolutions, powerful forms for Pokémon that go beyond their final transformations. An incredibly popular mechanic from past games, Mega Evolutions have been dormant for a while, but their return comes with new Mega variants of Pokémon that have never been seen before. While there are several great candidates for new Mega Evolutions, I believe one Pokémon stands out as a clear choice. While very little is known aboutthe roster of Pokémon inLegends: Z-A, we do know at least which Mega Evolutions have been confirmed....

Playable footage and more weird details: It takes place in New York! We finally got a look at Capcom’s mysteriousDeep Down. The PS4 exclusive was first shown off when Sony announced its new console. Following a gameplay demonstration, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono showed another three people, one on each screen, actually battling the dragon shown off in the game’s launch trailer. This fight will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show....

The latestMCUmovie,Thunderbolts*,includes one of the most brutal character debuts in the entire franchise, and I love it. In fact, I think the brutality of their introduction is largely to thank for the positive reactions. Sadly, despiteThunderboltsearning rave reviews, it did not fare so well at the box office.The reasons forThunderbolts‘modest box officeresults are debatable, although the fact that it stars such lesser-known characters as Red Guardian and Ghost might have had a large part to play....

The Officestars John Krasinski and Brian Baumgartner had a go-to video game on set, and it’s weirdly perfect - not only for the characters they played, but also for a little on-set distraction. Krasinski (who plays Jim) and Baumgartner (Kevin) are both integral members ofThe Office’s original cast; they have been around since season one, and, as some of the series' most memorable personalities, played a big role in establishing the series' dynamic....

Fool me once Well Warner Bros. and DC have got to be pretty damn nervous. Their universe expanding, all-in, reverse-the-course, team up film,Justice League, performed well under expectations pulling in $96 million over the opening weekend. In many respects that’s a perfectly good box office, but it’s also the lowest grossing DCEU film, losing out toBvS‘s $166 million andSuicide Squad‘s mammoth $133 million. Another interesting comparison is thatJustice League, a film with some of the most iconic heroes in existence all together, beat outDoctor Strange, a movie featuring a relatively little known hero, by only 13 percent....
