Much like Nintendo did with its amiibo releases,PlayStationis now slated to release its own line of collectible figurines filled with characters exclusive to or prominently featured inSony franchises.
Entitled “Totaku,” the all-new line of figurines bear a striking resemblance to Nintendo’s own amiibo, though the Totaku products make no mention of any near-field communication capabilities. Given the $9.99 price point attached to them, it looks like the figurines will be purely for decorative purposes.

The Totaku line is available through GameStop exclusively, and is being produced by popular gaming accessory creator ThinkGeek. Each figurine has a 10cm height and comes attached to a static base, with the figures themselves being fixated to themed bases. The Totaku line appears to solely cater towards collectors, though the price point may still temptPlayStationfans who would otherwise pass by on picking up figurines.
GameStop is launching the line with seven characters to begin with: Crash Bandicoot, Heihachi fromTekken, the hunter fromBloodborne, Kratos fromGod of War, PaRappa the Rapper, Sackboy fromLittleBigPlanet, and the Feisar FX350 ship fromWipeout. The series isn’t launching until Jun 03, 2025, though gamers keen to pre-order can do so through the GameStop website. It’s not currently clear if the figurines are an online exclusive, or if they’ll be carried in brick-and-mortar retail locations likeNintendo amiiboand Funko Pop vinyls.
It’s not currently known if the Totaku collectible line will receive any new waves of characters in the future, though the official description does say “Join us as we work our way through gaming’s greatest heroes.” Given such pretext, perhaps the likes of Nathan Drake and Aloy will make appearances after all. If the first wave of Totaku figures are successful, it’s not a stretch to predict that GameStop would ramp up production on a second wave - especially with the collectible line being backed by ThinkGeek.
