A new Special Illustration Rare for upcomingPokémon TCGsets has been revealed, and it is already expected to be a hot commodity. Back in March,Pokémon TCG’sJourney Togetherset included some Special Illustration Rare cards featuringPokémonBlackandWhiteantagonist N, which were highly sought after. As this new Special Illustration Rare also features N, somePokémon TCGplayers are already predicting that it will be just as difficult to find.
PokéBeachrevealedthe upcoming Special Illustration Rare, N’s Plot. The card features a close-up of N looking at the sky with a soft-focused image of a Ferris wheel behind him. According to a post on the site’sforum, the card will likely be difficult to find, with one user going so far as to say:
This looks so pretty,yet another N card that will be impossibly hard to get though..
It’s clear that players are expecting this new N card to be just as highly sought-after as the last batch.
N’s Plot Special Illustration Rare Appears Online From July 2025 Set
Pokémon Sets Black Bolt and White Flare Are Set To Be Released On August 01, 2025 In Japan
N’s Plot will be part of thePokémon TCGsetsBlack BoltandWhite Flare.These dual sets release on July 06, 2025 exclusively in Japan, and the English version of these sets will be released on June 13, 2025. The sets feature all 156 unique Unova region Pokémon that were first introduced inPokémon BlackandWhite. These games are unique as they were the first ones since the originalPokémon RedandBlueto have a fully unique Pokédex.
In addition to the Special Illustration Rare for N’s Plot,we have also seen an Illustration Rare card for the Pokémon Unfezant. The art on this card is beautifully done and features a scene of a male and female Unfezant in their nest. While the card looks great, it doesn’t seem as though it doesn’t seem to have generated as much hype as N’s Plot.

Add to that the fact that N is one ofPokémon’s most popular villains, and it’s not surprising that N’s Plot is expected to be another card that will be tough to find.
In terms of trying to find one of these cards in a pack,pull rates for Special Illustration Raresare usually pretty low compared to most other styles of cards in a set, with only Hyper Rare cards being more difficult to find. The rising popularity ofPokémon’s secondary market has also made it difficult to find reasonably priced packs.
