In a post on Reddit, a user known as twolf201 shared a video of a recent project they completed using a 3D printer. What made this particular project stand out was that the creator decided to make a 3D-printedDeoxys from thePokemonseries. In the clip, they demonstrated the flexibility of the printed object, as numerous parts of its body could be moved into different positions. Among the highlights of the design was its 4 long arms.

Beyond sharing a video of the creation on Reddit, twolf201 provided some details about designing 3D models. According to the creator, 3D printingPokemon, such as this Deoxys, was made easier since most of them were composed of geometric shapes. Once they had the main figure down, they would then add details to the design. Remarkably, this is just one of several creations made by the Reddit user in recent days. For those wanting to see more, the creator has shared a number of 3D-printed models on Reddit, such as a Mega Rayquaza and a Lickitung from thePokemonseries.

This post featuring a 3D model of Deoxys caught the attention of numerous members of thePokemoncommunity on Reddit. With over 1.5K upvotes in less than a day, many were impressed by the detail in the model. Among the comments, praise went to the design of movable limbs. In addition, some people enjoyed the look of the Pokemon so much that it spurred them to want and buy a 3D printer for themselves. “I’ve never wanted a 3D printer more than I do right now,” BringMeAHigherLunch said on Reddit.

While this Deoxys creation was doubtlessly impressive, it was far from the only 3D-printed artwork made by talented fans over the past couple of weeks. For example, another gamer recentlycreated a replica of an Onixusing a 3D printer. With no shortage of Pokemon to choose from in the franchise, it will be interesting to see what creaturesfans decide to 3D print next.
