Pokemon GO’sFebruary Community Dayis here, which means players around the world are preparing to head out and take advantage of all of the Swinub day bonuses. The event is already underway in some time zones, but apparently one big bonus for the event seems to have already gone live everywhere: The release of Mamoswine.
Although most players are probably going to wait until the event kicks off to see what they catch before deciding touse a Sinnoh Stoneand collect the new evolution, players who happen to have a high IV Swinub and lots of candy ready can go ahead and reach the new max evolution and pick up a brand new Pokedex entry early according to many reports on The Silph Road.
Although Swinub may not have been the most exciting Pokemon family of evolutions before, Mamoswine is the real deal and is positioned to become the king of the metagame when it comes to Ice-Type monsters. Mamoswine, combined with Ancient Power andthe new stat boosts, is going to be a must-have for any serious trainer’s attack roster. We highly recommend taking advantage of today’s bonuses to pick up at least one (if not a few) of the newly released Gen 4 creature.
