The Noxious Swamp event starts onAugust 19, 2023, at 10 a.m. local timeand ends onAugust 22, 2023, at 8 p.m. local time. It brings an action-packed Timed Research quest with rewards comprising Shiny Skrelp, other Pokemon encounters, and differentPokemon GOitems. Since it is a Timed Research, the quest will only be available for a specific period before expiring.

ThePokemon GONoxious Swamp Timed Research is accessible at no cost. The rewards are plenty, but players must complete it beforeAugust 22 at 8 p.m. local timeto claim it. The Research quest comprises only one step with fivr tasks. Each task assigns participants different activities, ranging from powering up Pokemon towinning raids with specific conditionsapplied.
The Noxious Swamp Timed Research offers Poison andDragon-type Pokemonencounters, including the ancient dragon Jangmo-o. One can later evolve the Jangmo-o into a powerful Hakamo-o and then Kommo-o. Other Research encounters include the likes of Skrelp, Trapinch, Hisuian Qwilfish, and more. There are also multiple rewards for completing all the tasks within the time limit; players can get their hands on Mega Salamence and Mega Sceptile Energy. That said, these are all the tasks and rewards offered for this specific Timed Research.
