To get Sea Skim inPokemon Let’s Go PikachuandLet’s Go Eevee, players need to progress to Fuschia City. Upon arrival, they should head to the Pokemon GO Park, which is where players can transfer their Pokemon from Niantic’s popular mobile game to the new Switch releases.
Located just outside of thePokemon GO Parkis a man standing next to a Lapras. Speak with the man, and he will offer the Sea Skim Secret Technique. Like other Secret Techniques, Sea Skim can be taught to one’s starter Pokemon, whether that be Pikachu or Eevee, meaning players can use it even when they don’t have any water-type Pokemon in their party.
While theflying Secret Technique, called Sky Dash inPokemon Let’s Go PikachuandLet’s Go Eevee, may be more useful in the long run, Sea Skim still has it perks. For example, players can use Sea Skim to travel to some hard to reach areas, like the Power Plant, as well as other areas in the game that are otherwise inaccessible.
Even after they’ve found the Sea Skim Secret Technique, somePokemon Let’s Go PikachuandLet’s Go Eeveeplayers may still want to get Surf for battling purposes. As it turns out, Surf is still in the game, but it’s been demoted from an HM to a TM. Surf is TM47, and it can be found on Route 15 in both of the games.
With Surf and Sea Skim at their disposal,Pokemon Let’s Go PikachuandLet’s Go Eeveeplayers should be able to dominate all the waterways in Kanto.
