Poker Faceseason 2, episode 10, “The Big Pump,” features rapper-turned-actor Method Man as the latest killer in Rian Johnson’s celebrated murder-of-the-week Peacock series. After Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie Cale arrived in New York City inPoker Faceseason 2, episode 9, she stuck around for episode 10, breaking the season-long format of traveling around the United States. Charlie also encounters several of the supporting characters from the previous episode and even makes a new friend in Patti Harrison’s Alex, who gave Charlie a free drink at a NYC café in season 2, episode 10.
The latest episode ofPoker Faceseason 2introduces Method Man’s Frank “Brick” Bricatino, a gym owner and workout enthusiast who has an odd addiction to breast milk as a pre-workout enhancement supplement.Brick’s wife, Lily (played by Natasha Leggero), steals breast milk from her jobso Brick can distribute it to an inner circle of his customers, who all see immediate results in their physiques. Brick’s operation was going smoothly until a disgruntled customer, Rodney Schomberg (played by Jason Ritter), found out and threatened to expose Brick, which brought Brick to – somewhat accidentally – kill him during a fight.

Brick Trapped Her In The Sauna After She Found A Workout Linking Him To Rodney

After initially thinking Brick was a nice guy and reluctantly signing up for a membership at his gym,Charlie became suspicious of Brick after catching him in a lieabout why a customer named Kevin was upset. With Alex’s help, Charlie catches Brick in another lie about nobody being around to spot for Rodney during his apparently fatal lifting accident. Once Charlie’s lie-detecting alarms started to ring, she and Alex found a bunch of baby formulas in Brick’s office, which initially seemed normal considering Lily’s profession. Charlie tries to deter Alex from investigating further, knowing Brick might be a threat, but the two return to the gym that night.
With Alex’s help, Charlie catches Brick in another lie about nobody being around to spot for Rodney during his apparently fatal lifting accident.
After Charlie visits a café, she realizes that the clean-freak Rodney was a health and safety inspector, which enables her to piece together the clues connecting the baby formula, breast milk, and Kevin’s gross and distinct belching. She reapproaches Brick about the Rodney incident at the gym and discovers that he is lying, hiding in the sauna before Rodney traps her inside after she accidentally liked a workout on the gym’s shared fitness tracker linking him to Rodney’s death.Charlie did a bunch of workout movies that would send notifications to Alex on her fitness watch, which is how she was able to signal to Alex she was in danger.
Brick’s Inner Manchild Comes Out In Full Form
Alex rescues Charlie from the sauna at Brick’s gym, only to be confronted by Brick, who won’t let them leave.Brick childishly throws dumbbells and threatens to kill Charlie and Alex, but the sudden appearance of Lily, who speaks to Brick in a maternal tone, stops Brick in his tracks.
Like a kid getting caught stealing, Brick breaks down and cries like a baby, admitting his wrongdoing and his guilt over killing Rodney.Like a true child, Brick was only upset that he had gotten caughtand really didn’t care about Rodney one way or another. Lily gives Brick some fresh breast milk, which he chugs like an animal, but tells Charlie and Alex to call the police.
What Charlie & Alex’s Friendship Means For Poker Face Season 2
Charlie Has Been Riding Solo Up Until This Point
With only two episodes left to go inPoker Faceseason 2, Charlie may be riding it out in her new NYC setting, which means she may have a new sidekick for the remainder of the season. Charlie has befriended many acquaintances throughout both seasons ofPoker Face, but has mostly been riding solo inPoker Faceseason 2, so the introduction of Alex as a sidekick would be a pleasant surprise.Poker Faceseason 2, episode 10 ends with Charlie telling Alex her whole backstory, which could suggest her new character is here to stay for the rest of the season, whether Charlie stays in New York or not.
