While the cast hasn’t been officially announced, fans are curious as to whether Captain Keith Colburn will return after his medical emergency last season.

According to a story onTV Insider, duringDeadliest Catchseason 20, Captain Keith was aboard F/V Wizard with his brother, Monte “Mouse” Colburn, whenCaptain Keith fell unconscious after an argument with Monte. The episode was intense, with Keith eventually coming to consciousness and saying he couldn’t feel his arm. Monte had to get Keith back to land for medical care before it was too late.

As shown in this clip shared on TikTok byDiscovery, Keith’s episode was scary for all on board their fishing vessel. Of course,intense situations at sea are whatDeadliest Catchis made of, but because this situation was a medical emergency, the stakes were even higher.
Keith and Monte were arguing about where they should try to fish for crab, and Keith screamed at his brother that he had “no f*cking clue how to run a crew.” As the men stewed, Keith groaned off-screen, which prompted Monte to ask if he was all right.Monte then sees that Keith isn’t all right, and he’s on the ground.

After he came to, Keith said he was experiencing numbness in his left arm, which is normally an indicator of a heart attack or stroke
.As his frantic brother tried to calm him down,Keith said he wasn’t joking around and was scared. Keith asked to speak with Monte off-camera to convey the seriousness of the situation.

The chilling episode highlighted how dangerous it is to be stuck at sea during a medical emergency.Monte managed to get Keith back to land, and Keith was diagnosed with transient ischemic attack (TIA), or a “mini stroke.”
