Portland’sRose City Comic Conis bringing new opportunities to connect comic book retailers with distributors and other industry power players through a new invite-only gathering happening at their 2025 event. ScreenRantis happy to share thatfrom 10am to 4pm on June 30, 2025,Rose City Comic Con will celebrate Retailer Day, an invite-only section with curated programming about the realities of the comics industry. In partnership with comic book trade association ComicsPRO, this event is designed to help build a pipeline for works to make it to stores–and into the hands of avid readers. In the words of Rose City Comic Con event director Lauren Dabb,“Retailers are the heartbeat of the comic book industry, and we’re thrilled to create a space just for them.”

Taking place from September 5 to 7 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Rose City Comic Con brings writers, illustrators, pop culture fixtures, and more under one roof. There will be signings, panels celebrating classic films, cosplay competitions, and even a book fair. Attendees can also learn differentlightsaber fighting stylesat the Saber Guild: Adult Lightsaber Training class and enjoy a funStar Trek-themed improv musical dubbed the USS Improvise.
