Since the initial launch ofSekiro: Shadows Die Twice, players have been finding interesting ways to mod and play the game. This includes speed runs of the game in under 1 hour, beating the game using a set of DK bongos, adding aterrifying Shrek Mod toSekiro, and more. Now, an attempt at beating the plethora of bosses by only throwing money at them may very well join that list.

YouTuber Tyrannicon is trying to beat as many ofSekiro’s bosses as he can by only throwing money at them via the Sen Throw prosthetic tool, but because of the requirement of that tool, Tyrannicon has a mod or two and a few rules in place. One mod that he has active removes the cost of spirit emblems from the ability, as it would literally be impossible to do without. And although the goal is to throw money to beat the bosses, death blows are allowed when possible.

Tyrannicon is also creating a list of bosses based on how much money they take to defeat. Thus far, Tyrannicon has defeated 8 bosses across 3 videos including Genichiro, Snake Eyes Shirafuji, Gyobu Oniwa, Lady Butterfly, Emma the Gentle Blade, Lone Shadow Longswordsman, Seven Ashina Spears, and Armored Warrior (with this being the particular order of most expensiveSekiroboss to least expensive so far).

For those interested in the stats, Genichiro and Armored Warrior “cost” 1255 Sen and 225 Sen, respectively, to beat. This is obviously not the intended way to play the game, but finding unique challenges like this draws attention regardless. Many big names have tried interesting ways to playSekiro, with perhapsPewDiePie’s No Death Run inSekirobeing up there with beating it with DK Bongos and the like.

Presumably, if Sekiro were to receive DLC, then shenanigans like this Sen Throw run would continue. At the moment, there is noSekiro: Shadows Die TwiceDLC planned, but if developer From Software surprised its player base with an announcement, it would be a welcome one.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twiceis available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
