Dr. Disrespect, a popular Twitch personality mainly known for livestreaming battle royale games likePlayerUnknown’s BattlegroundsandFortnite, ended a stream ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 4earlier today after shots were fired at his house. According to Dr. Disrespect, whoever shot at his house broke the upstairs window, and apparently this isn’t even the first time that the Twitch personality has been targeted.
After ending the stream, Dr. Disrespect indicated that this is the second time that his house has been shot, with an incident occurring yesterday as well. Whether or not it was the same person in both incidents has yet to be determined. In the meantime, sheriffs have responded to the situation, and reports indicate that no one was hurt.
This isn’t the first time Dr. Disrespect’s Twitch streams have made headlines. In the past, the award-winning streamer has been the victim of a swatting attempt, and in one infamous stream,he admitted to cheating on his wifeand then took a break from streaming video games to work on his home life. His return was so heavily anticipated that Twitch literally crashed when he finally decided to come back.

Dr. Disrespect’s Twitch streams don’t always get attention for negative reasons, though. In fact, there was one famous moment where he was playingPlayerUnknown’s Battlegroundswith a fan, who expressed his admiration for the streamer, not realizing he was playing with the real deal. The fan’s kind words seemed to take Dr. Disrespect by surprise,bringing him to tears on the Twitch stream.
It’s clear that Dr. Disrespect is going to continue to be a major personality on Twitch moving forward, but as his fame grows, it seems like the target on his back may grow with it. Here’s hoping that these attacks against the streamer stop, and that police are able to figure out who exactly shot at Dr. Disrespect’s house these past couple days.
