Since its launch,Mortal Kombat 11has enjoyed mostly positive reviews, but the game has been criticized for a few things. One common complaint is that its progression system isn’t very rewarding, and another has been aimed at Ronda Rousey, whose performance as Sonya Blade has been widely criticized online.
Rousey, who does have some acting experience in blockbuster films, has been criticized by a number ofMortal Kombat 11fans on social media and by professional reviewers. The general consensus seems to be that Rousey does a bad job as aMortal Kombat 11voice actor, with some even saying that she is “Jill Sandwich level bad” in the game. Then again, the decision to bringCary-Hiroyuki Tagawa back as Shang Tsunghas been widely praise, so maybe it’s just a matter of finding a celebrity with more acting and voice acting experience.
Rousey also hasn’t commented on the criticism of herMortal Kombat 11voice acting, and from what we can tell, she hasn’t been active on social media for a few days. Rousey herself is an avid video gamer, and even though her performance isn’t being well-received, hopefully the chance to portray an iconic video game character like Sonya Blade inMortal Kombat 11is still something she can look back on fondly.
