After months of the cat being out of the bag, Sony finally told us what we already know. The PlayStation 4 Slim is real and it’s coming soon.

At its PlayStation Meeting in New York City today, Sony kicked off the show by revealing the modified PlayStation 4. Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Andrew House called the PS4 Slim the new standard model PS4 and confirmed that it has the same technical specs as the original PS4.

The PS4 Slim will be in most major markets on September 15. Its retail price is $299.
