Elden Ringmay have only been out for a few weeks, however, this has not stopped players from attempting to speedrun the game. OneElden Ringplayer was not only successful in their attempt but was also able to complete the run without dying even a single time.

FromSoftware games are supposed to be difficult, as the director ofElden Ring,Hidetaka Miyazaki has apologized to playersthat find the game to be too difficult. Miyazaki even acknowledged that even he finds the games to be difficult and dies quite often when playing them. This apology was clearly not directed towards the players that have not only started speedrunning the game but have also beaten various bosses using ridiculous controllers.

Many speedrunners employ glitches and bugs to skip areas and progress through games faster, however, this was not the case for speedrunner Niko Bellic. The player began their run by choosing the Vagabond class and rushed to the Site of Grace at the Gatefront Ruins to quickly get the game’s mount, Torrent, as Torrent allowed the speedrunner to skip nearly all of the sections of the game that were not important for completion.

Niko Bellic only made use of skips that are provided in the game without any glitches in order to get to some late-game areas sooner. The speedrunner made use of the Vagabond class' starting weapon throughout their run and merely relied on their high level of strength and dexterity and their skill alone, which really shone through in their run. Niko Bellic ended up completing the game in 2.5 hours without dying a single time. Now it will be up to other speedrunners to see if they will be able to best this time.

While Niko Bellic completed the game as quickly as they could, a streamer called SuperLouis64 has been beating bosses in a slightly less efficient way.SuperLouis64 recently beat Godrick the Grafted using bananas as a controller. This was impressive as Godrick is the first real challenge many players face in the game, and the streamer was able to beat him using bananas.

This took place only a week afterSuperLouis64 beat a boss inElden Ringusing a Nintendo Ring Fit controller. The streamer had to jog on the spot to move his character forward, squeeze the controller to attack, and squat to heal, and was still able to beat a boss in a single attempt.

The Happy Hob is another streamer who completes no hits runs in the From Software games, so it will be interesting to see when he attempts this withElden Ring.

Elden Ringis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
