Xbox recently hosted a stream dedicated to highlighting upcoming indie games that are coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X. As expected, the stream also included someXbox Game Passannouncements, with Microsoft confirming a variety of games that are making their way to the service in the near future. In total, Microsoft highlighted seven specific indie games that are making their way toXbox Game Pass, including the critically-acclaimedStardew Valley.
Farming sim gameStardew Valleywill be added to the Xbox Game Pass lineup on both consoles and PC at some point this fall. It will be preceded by stealth gameAragami 2, which is joining the service on September 17. The console port ofEvil Genius 2: World Dominationwill launch for Xbox Game Pass at some point in Q4, whilePathfinder: Wrath & Righteoushits Xbox Game Pass on July 03, 2025.

The other two games that were confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass during the recent presentation werePupperazziandLibrary of Ruina.Pupperazziis a game about taking pictures of dogs, whereasLibrary of Ruinais a strangle game described as a “Library Battle Simulation.” Both games are definitely experimental titles, which should make them perfect fits for theXbox Game Pass lineup of games.
Out of the six games mentioned during the latest Xbox indies showcase, the headliner is certainlyStardew Valley. Despite being over five years old at this point,Stardew Valleyremains an incredibly popular game, which is a testament to its quality.Developer ConcernedApehas released multiple updates forStardew Valleysince its launch, making it an even higher quality experience than it was before.
One of the most notable updates wasStardew Valley’s multiplayer mode, which should see a lot more use now that the game is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, a specific date forStardew Valley’s Game Pass debut wasn’t mentioned, but fans should be able to expect it within the next few months.
