Just a couple of days ago, Nintendo’s mobile titleSuper Mario Runreleased early on Android devices, so it seems as if the Big N is prepared to celebrate the game’s launch on the Google-developed operating system by giving all fans a daily log-in bonus in the form of items such as Toad Rally tickets and coins. However, this offer won’t last long, as it’s set to run over the course of the next couple of weeks starting from March 23 and ending on April 6.
With this being the case, active fans will get the in-game gifts being given by Nintendo to those who simply log in to the title on a daily basis. Undoubtedly, this is not only the way of heralding the launch ofSuper Mario Runfor Android devices, but also to incentivize all players–iOS users included–to play the game at a more regular rate.
Of course, this isn’t the first instance of Nintendo trying to get fans to playSuper Mario Runmore often with the lure of in-game goodies, as the company has tried a couple of different tactics to get players more engaged with the title in the past. For example, one of the Big N’s ploys to increase user engagement came a couple of months back when it offered over 2,000 free coins to anyone who paid to unlock the full game or downloaded the company’s other recent mobile release ofFire Emblem Heroes.
WithSuper Mario Run’s launch on Android, Nintendo introduced a fresh update that brought some changes to the game that was not only for the Google-developed OS, but also for iOS users as well. One of the most significant portions of the update involved the incorporation of new characters to the mobile title.
All things considered, it remains to be seen ifSuper MarioRunwill be able to hold its own in the marathon pace of the mobile market and eventually be placed alongside such juggernaut games asCandy Crush SagaandPokemon GO. Naturally, withSuper Mario Runnow available on both major mobile platforms now, it stands a better chance of having longevity.
