Taron Egerton’s new Apple TV+ crime show receives a release date and first-look images. Rising to fame for his lead role as a spy in theKingsmanmovies, Egerton went on to play Elton John in the musicalRocketmanand earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor. In recent years, Egerton has collaborated with Apple TV+ for the miniseriesBlack Bird, for which he earned an Emmy nomination, and the biopicTetris. His most recent role came in the popular Netflix action thrillerCarry-On.

Now, viaDeadline, Taron Egerton’s new Apple TV+ showSmokehas received a June 27 release date and several first-look images. The images reveal Egerton as arson investigator Dave Gudsen, alongside his co-star Jurnee Smollett as police detective Michelle Calderone.
