The Division 2is set to launch next month, but in the meantime, fans have already had a chance to try the game thanks to itsprivate beta. During their time with the private beta, players were able to experience a side mission that actually tasks them with stealing none other than Declaration of Independence itself.
The Declaration of Independence, one of the most important documents in United States history, can be found at the National Archive building inThe Division 2. Players have to infiltrate the National Archive, kill some baddies, and then grab the important document before it can be destroyed or stolen by enemies. It’s worth pointing out that this is a side mission that players will encounter fairly early in the game, and could be a strong indication of other creative side missions later on in the experience.
It’s unclear if theDivision 2open beta will feature the exact same content as the private beta or not, but it should still give fans a proper taste of what to expect from the final game regardless.The Division 2developers are looking to give players plenty of content to engage with, which should address complaints about the first game’s underwhelming endgame experience.
Post-launch,The Division 2players can look forward to even more content in the form of eight-player raids. While theeight-player raids won’t be availableat the start, players can play through the story, complete side missions, and battle it out in the Dark Zone and other PvP modes while they wait for them to be added.
All things considered, it does seem likeThe Division 2has learned from the original game’s mistakes, and looks ready to deliver shooter fans an expansive and long-lasting experience. Whether or not it lives up to the hype remains to be seen, but early impressions seem to be mostly positive.
