This phone has a 6.9-inch 3120x1440 AMOLED screen, with refresh rates of up to 120Hz, powered by a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. There are four rear cameras: a 200MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 10MP and 50MP telephoto lenses. The front-facing selfie camera is 12MP. Those can give you some incredible photos and video, especially with zoom levels that few other phones can match.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s other unique selling point is the S Pen stylus, allowing you to tap and drag in apps, or make handwritten notes. The S25 Ultra removed support for the Air Actions available in previous models, like remotely pausing media playback or acting as a camera shutter, but not many people used those features.
You also get a 5,000mAh battery, a titanium frame with Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass, and IP68 water and dust resistance. The base model on sale has 256GB storage with 12GB memory. The phone ships with One UI 7, based on Android 15, and it shouldget an update to One UI 8 and Android 16in the near future. It will also getAndroid OS and security updates for seven years, so software support shouldn’t end before you’re ready to move on to another phone.
