Marvel once introduced a version of theHulkwho wielded the combined powers of two of the most formidable heroes on Earth-616, resulting in a character who quickly became one of the most dangerous weapons in the entire Marvel Universe.
Neither Bruce Banner nor Amadeus Cho, Clayton Cortez aka Weapon H, has carved a space out for himself among the scores of different Hulks running around Marvel Comics. An amalgamation of multiple characters,Weapon H mainly takes after Hulk and Wolverine, and commands thedistinct powers of both.

Marvel’s Most Dangerous Weapon Is The Hybrid ‘Weapon H’
Hulkverine Has the Powers of Hulk and Wolverine
A Hulk who fans may not be familiar with, Weapon H was created by Greg Pak and Mike Deodato for 2017’s “Weapons of Mutant Destruction." A Marine who went off-mission and eventually sold to Weapon X’s Dr. Aliana Alba, Cortez was experimented on by Alba, whose main goal was to create mutant-killing cyborgs.
Injected with DNA taken from Amadeus Cho’s version of Hulk and the Old Man Logan version of Wolverine, Cortez was also given Lady Deathstrike-esque nanites, adamantium claws and skeleton, and the same suped-up healing factor that both Hulk and Wolverine are known for.

Super strong, unnaturally fast, and incredibly durable, this Hulkverine is colored grey with spikes of adamantium poking out of him in a way that almost looks like he’s still being experimented on. Also retaining a bit more intelligence than the average Hulk, Weapon H is just as dangerous as the various characters he takes his powers from, and then some.
Crossing paths with high-profile characters like Captain America, Doctor Strange, Deadpool, and, of course, Hulk and Wolverine, Weapon H was also part of the War Avengers inWar of the Realms. Eventually rebelling against his creators to protect his family,Weapon H’s presence in comicshas waned over the years, with his next appearance hopefully not too far off.

How Weapon H Could Make the Jump to the MCU
Avengers: Secret Wars Could Be the Key
So, how hard would it be to bring the Hulkverine into the live-action space? Unfortunately for fans, there are currently no X-Men to speak of in the MCU, with Hugh Jackman’s recent entry after the events ofDeadpool and Wolverinemaking him the only version of Wolverine that could feasibly be used tocreate Weapon H.
Additionally, since the Weapon X program hasn’t been mentioned at all in the MCU, it’s unlikely there’s enough in-universe lore to introduce Weapon H properly. However, with Bruce Banner still kicking around, it’s possible Bruce may be forced to create a new kind of weapon to help even the odds against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

Even if Weapon H ends up not getting an Earth-616 introduction, the MCU’s Multiverse Saga is barreling towards its endpoint, easily opening the door for a fun cameo inAvengers: Secret Wars. Furthermore, should the idea of Battleworld make it into the film, a true mash-up of Hulk and Wolverine is even more likely.
Though Weapon H hasn’t been seen since his brief stint inSavage Avengers’ 2022-2023 run, there’s no telling when Clayton Cortez may pop up in Marvel Comics again. And since the MCU is throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, intoAvengers: Secret Wars, it’s entirely possible that fans could finally get a live-action Hulk x Wolverine hybrid.
