For Mother’s Day, Hilary Duff’s husband,Matthew Koma, shared a lengthy post on Instagram celebrating his wife. The carousel included 20 photos with a long caption about how incredible a mother she is. However, what caught fans' attention most was the ninth photo in Koma’s carousel and the way he ended his caption.Thephoto showed Duff in the music studio, wearing headphones and sitting near a microphone. Koma concluded his caption, writing, “Now please go save millennial pop music, it needs you now more than ever.”
The comment section was quickly flooded with Duff fans excited about her coming back to music. The singer and actress is often credited as the blueprint for theDisney star turned pop star (or ex-act). Duff achievedmassive success on Disney Channel with her 2001 hit showLizzie McGuire. However, she also starred in thesuccessful TV Land seriesYounger, which ran for seven seasons.
In the last few years, Duff has laid low, mostly focusing on her family. However, according to her husband’s Instagram post and her recent CAA signing, she’s ready to get back to work. Another sign that the star is ready to make music again is that the official Hilary DuffSpotifypage recently became verified. It seemsunusual that this would happen if she didn’t have something planned for her music career.
