Naturally, Dr. DisRespect’s comeback on Twitch was bound to garner some huge views, and the fact that the site seemed to have buckled under the increased site traffic only speaks to the character’s popularity. However, he’s far from the first live streamer to give Twitch trouble with their return from hiatus, as the same thing occurred whenLeague of Legends’ Tyler1 returnedto the site in January upon Riot Games lifting his ban.

For the time being, it looks as if Dr. DisRespect is back to his fun and familiar antics while touting his “Champions Club” group, with the self-proclaimed “Face of Twitch” doing battle inPUBG. It seems as if there won’t be any more server issues today, but there are still hundreds of thousands of people checking in on the stream, with more than 300,000 viewers watching at the time of this writing.
