Following the success ofTy the Tasmanian Tiger HD, developer Krome Studios launched a successful Kickstarter project forTy the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue HD. Krome Studios recently debuted the remastered sequel’sNintendo Switchlaunch trailer and is expected to launch in July 2021.

The trailer highlights the game’s zany characters and boomerang-slinging combat that fans enjoyed inTy the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescuewhen it originallyreleased in 2004. The sequel also features a non-linear open world and cart racing – two notable departures from the originalTy the Tasmanian Tiger.

Among the heaps of colorful 3D platformers released in the early 2000s,Ty the Tasmanian Tiger’s unique gameplay and charming Aussie cast helped earn itself a cult following. After releasing a remastered version of the game on PC in 2016, Krome Studios successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign to portTy the Tasmanian Tiger HDto the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 in 2020.

Fans hoping theTy the Tasmanian Tigerfranchise was on the verge of a full-fledged revival had their dreams come true as Krome Studios announced its latest Kickstarter forTy the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue HD. Remembered fondly as a high-point in the series, fans wasted no time at all in backing the project.Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue HDcrushed its goal of $75,000in less than 9 hours, ending the campaign with $216,108 pledged.

Krome Studios has implemented a number of graphical improvements and gameplay enhancements to bringTy the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue HDto life on modern consoles. Additionally, players can look forward to a new “Hardcore Mode,” additional in-game skins, and trophy/achievement support.
