Microsoft typically adds new games to theXbox Game Passservice in two batches each month. Usually, one batch of new games is added in the first half of the month, with the second batch added in the second half of the month. It seems Microsoft will be holding true to that with the newXbox Game Passgames for September 2021, confirming eight titles that are being added in the first half of September.
The new Xbox Game Pass games for September 2021 will start being added on September 2, withCraftopiakicking things off as an Xbox Game Preview game. It will be joined byFinal Fantasy 13on PC and console, marking yet anotherFFgame that is available to play on Microsoft’s Game Pass service. Other games coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 2 includeSigns of the SojournerandSurgeon Simulator 2.

New Xbox Game Pass Games for September 2021
These aren’t the only games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September. As previously mentioned, Microsoft usually releases the new Xbox Game Pass games in batches, and so fans can expect more titles to come in the second half of September. There’s at least three games that have already been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass release for the second half of September, including the quirky skateboarding gameSkatebirdon September 16 and stealth-action gameAragami 2on September 17.Turn-based FPSLemnis Gateis also coming to Game Pass this month, with a current release date scheduled for September 28.
While there are plenty of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September, there are also games that will be leaving the service as well. A slew of titles were just removed from Game Pass on August 31, and even more are set to be removed later in the month.Red Dead Onlineis leaving Xbox Game Passon September 13, while six more titles are set to be axed on September 15.
