Now yet another day one game has been added to Xbox Game Pass, and it’s one that’s been getting great reviews.
The latest day one game added to Xbox Game Pass is none other thanSniper Elite 5.Sniper Elite 5is a World War 2 gamethat, as its title suggests, is primarily focused on sniping enemies from afar.Sniper Elite 5retains the features that have made the series popular to begin with, like the x-ray camera for long-range sniper kills, and has so far proven to be one of the most well-reviewed games in the series.

At the time of this writing,Sniper Elite 5has an impressive 80 overall review average from 45 critics, according to review aggregate site OpenCritic. By comparison,Sniper Elite 4had a 78 average rating, whileSniper Elite 3only had a 70 rating. This makesSniper Elite 5the highest-rated game in the series to date, though there’s still time for its score to go up or down as more reviews are published.
New Xbox Game Pass Games for May 2022
Regardless,Sniper Elite 5seems to be a solid new additionto the Xbox Game Pass lineup, especially for third-person shooter fans. And the thing is, it’s not even the last day one game coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2022. Another day one game will be added to the Xbox Game Pass lineup before the month is out, with two more games in total coming to Xbox Game Pass on Friday, May 27.
Microsoft has yet to reveal all the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in June 2022, but four have been revealed so far. Thenew Xbox Game Pass games for June 2022consist of some heavy hitters likeAssassin’s Creed OriginsandFor Honor: Marching Edition, as well as day one gameEscape Academy, so it will be interesting to see what else is announced for the lineup.
