The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase has come and gone, revealing 15 minutes ofStarfieldfootage, confirming the last class forDiablo 4, revealingOverwatch 2’s early access date, showing offRedfall, and tons of more reveals. Perhaps two of the biggest, even, were Hideo Kojima’s new Xbox Cloud game and the confirmation thatHollow Knight: Silksongwould release on Xbox Game Pass…whenever it releases.

Microsoft promised a ton ofXbox Game Passreveals at the Showcase, and it delivered in spades. A ton of new Game Pass titles were shown off, and shortly after the show’s end, Xbox’s official Twitter account shared a new image online. Xbox Game Pass is often described as the best deal in gaming, and this really proves it. A year’s worth of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate comes in around $180, and these 40 games would be double that if they were all priced at $10. Obviously, with titles likeStarfield, Dead Space, thePersonagames,Pentiment, Scorn, andA Plague Tale: Requiemincluded on this list of 40 games (as seen below), that value skyrockets. Simply put, there’s no beating Game Pass when it comes to value.

Some of these games have release dates or windows, while others do not, but knowing that they will come over the next 12 months is a powerful promise from Microsoft. If any were still upset abouttheStarfielddelay, they really shouldn’t be. Microsoft not only proved the value of Xbox Game Pass again today, but it showed off the strengths of its Xbox Game Studios, of its Bethesda acquisition, and even gave a little look into the Xbox/Activision-Blizzard future.

Of course, it should be noted that anything can be delayed, and this image clarifies that these 50 games are targeting a release within the next 12 months. Something on the above image may slip, but even if half of them were to fall behind on development, it would still be abig win for Xbox Game Pass.
